Noble Fates

Noble Fates is a living fantasy kingdom sim where stories emerge from a deep simulation of the ambitions, opinions and memories the mortals experience in your world. Start off with a handful of Dwarves, Elves, Orcs, Halflings or Humans and build a kingdom and a people that live on and develop through the ages as the world keeps turning.

The Halflings to the east love you, because like them, you have chosen to be Good. The Humans to the north hate you, because unlike you, they wear the skins of their enemies. The Elves between them remember the nephew you captured, and they are on their way to take vengeance.

The world is the storyteller. Kingdoms are driven by their beliefs and fight to protect their honor. Profit from those who tolerate you. Forge alliances with those who align with you. Face the wrath of those who oppose you. Find your kingdom's place in a conflicted, dynamic world and lead them to prosperity.

He rode with the raiders for treasure. You captured him, turned him into your serf and had him eating scraps from your table at the feast. Slowly, you are bending him to your will.

Your Nobles are in your service. They build, farm, hunt, craft and fight on your command. But they are not mindless drones. They carry opinions and memories that form the foundation of their loyalty.

Reward them with treasure, a home and a full belly, and they’ll serve you. Convert them to the beliefs of the crown or bend the crown to theirs, and they’ll love you. Fail, and they’ll desert to start a rival kingdom or betray you in battle and turn the tide against you when you least expect it. And they will tell you why.

His mountain fortress was carved into the very rock itself. Filled with silver and precious loot from his enemies, the King and his loyal Dwarven Nobility guarded it in fear, turning away all who came to their gates.

Build a mighty castle brick by brick or carve a fortress deep into a mountain. Leverage powerful building tools and a deep unlock tree. Grant your Nobles homes of their own, and let them divide the work, the food and the loot up as they see fit, or manage every detail yourself.

Farm, raise animals, forage, hunt and trade to keep the larder and treasury full. Decide who is welcome when Envoys and Wanderers seek refuge: host them, rent them rooms and sell them your loot, or take what they carry and throw them into your dungeon.

Her brother was the King of a rival Kingdom. When you wed her, you invited him to the feast to celebrate. There you betrayed him, and killed him in front of her eyes. Her hatred for you burns in her heart.

Choose the beliefs your kingdom lives by. Good or evil, cannibal or not, all high Elves or a bit of everything. Recruit those who share them and convince those who do not to abandon their past.

The people and kingdoms surrounding your lands choose beliefs of their own, and they measure you against them. Their relationship with you is based on how well those beliefs align and how well you have treated them.

Bend foreign rulers with diplomacy, bring them in line by force, or invite a rival to a feast at your table and decide whether they leave it alive.

He was to be King. But he was passed over, in favor of his brother: a warrior of great renown. In anger he slipped away during the night and joined his brother’s most bitter rival. The Kingdom once more must prepare for war.

Your kingdom continues as long as someone is left to wear the crown. Raise heirs and train them for the day the crown falls to them. Pass it to your firstborn, or skip your own blood entirely. When a ruler dies, a feud that ran for decades can die with them, or a forgotten injustice can come roaring back. Opinions of the new ruler will differ. People will react. Conflicts will emerge.

Across the land, demonic portals opened up, and as they were touched began spewing out demons threatening all living things. The Queen quickly realized she needed a new type of warrior so powerful he could threaten her very rule. The Queen needed a Mage.

Arm your Nobles with gear blessed by the gods, worship them for a taste of their power, and train a Mage who wields power no army can match. Bandits, beasts that hunger endlessly for flesh, and the armies of your bitter rivals will test your walls.

And beneath it all, the Breach. Demonic Carbuncles are surfacing across the land. Break them open to face waves of demons! Take control of your Mage in 3rd Person and sling Magic Missiles to stem the tide. Survive the Breacher’s onslaught, slay the Demon Dragon before it leaves your castle in ruins. Finally - seal the Breach, bury the dead and divide up the loot!
