Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data GamerPoint ("we") processes when you use gamerpoint.app, and why. Short version: we run no ads, we sell no data, and most of the site works without an account.

Cookies we set

We use a small set of functional cookies — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies: gp_lang (your language choice), gp_country and gp_region (your approximate country, derived from your IP address, used to show prices in the right currency), gp_region_sel (a region you picked manually) and gp_locale_ok (remembers that you dismissed the language banner). They are stored for up to one year and are not shared with anyone.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, countries, referrers). It is cookie-free and does not identify individual visitors.

Accounts

Signing in is optional and is only needed for member features such as favorites and deal alerts. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase; we store your account identifier, e-mail address and your saved favorites in Google Firestore. If you enable push notifications in our app, a notification token is stored to deliver them.

Outbound links

Buy buttons lead to external stores (via affiliate redirects). Once you leave gamerpoint.app, the destination store's own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You can request a copy or the deletion of your account data at any time by writing to info@gamerpoint.app. Deleting your account removes your favorites and notification tokens.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above is updated. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
